Nanaimo Information

Since the first version went up in early 2005, Nanaimo Information has been our pet project, a testing ground for various features and approaches. Today, it's thriving — it's the only comprehensive information directory in Nanaimo, with hundreds and even thousands of visitors every day.

We've put all kinds of great tools and features into Nanaimo Information:

• Users can add their own listings to the business directory.

• There is an integrated forum, fully skinned to match the site's aesthetics and utilizing custom photo integration.

• Google Maps have been introduced to many of the pages, like the Nanaimo parks pages.

• Nanaimo Information uses the blog software that we wrote ourselves.

• We made a listings manager that allows real estate agents to display their properties for sale.

• Our user-friendly content management system allows the client to upload content easily — the site has more than 160 pages already!

• We're working on a tool that allows users to create their own resumé and upload it to Nanaimo Information.
